((Here we are, another day... finally))

Ivie woke up and freaked out for a moment wondering how she had gotten in the hall but then remembered the night before.
"Right...." she murmured.

Seraphyna was already awake by the time the others were up. She always woke up early, always. She spent her time in the room, so that she didn't have to past Ivie and experience a shocking way to wake up. She sat by the window and watched the sunrise.

When the other girls stirred, she was already dressed and ready to go to breakfast. The only thing preventing her was that Ivie was just now waking up.

Ivie was still dressed from the day before and headed down to breakfast, her hair in a rats nest.

When Ivie had left, Seraphyna cautiously followed her and the other girls who were ready down the stairs and towards the cafeterias. Seraphyna made sure she was quite a distance away from Ivie, because she knew she wouldn't be able to take anymore pain. She became tense and statue like when Ivie was around, and she wished she figured out a way to take off her wristband.

That morning, she also tried to use her endowment to melt it off, but for some reason it didn't work.

Ivie sat alone. She stared blankly at the wall having no one to talk to, and then she got an idea.

Ivie quickly wrote a not and had otehr people at the table pass it to Sere.

The note read:

Sere,

I figure if we can't get close to each othernt this still works

Ivie

Seraphyna felt a tap on her arm and glanced to the side as a boy handed her a note. She accepted it, wondering what he would want to have a word with her for, and then she realized that it was from Ivie. She read it through, smiled to herself, and fished a pen out of her bookbag and wrote back:

Ivie,

Of course! Why haven't I thought of this earlier? Do you know why we can't be near each other?

Ivie took the note and scribbled quickly.

Manfred says it's my choker and when I tried to take it off he said only one person in the world could take it of >.>

Seraphyna read the note and frowned. I knew it...so my bracelet must react with it, right? It has to be really high tech then, if it could do that. Or magic...

She wrote back what she thought and sent the note back up the table.

'Bracelet? ' wrote Ivie 'What braelet?'

Seraphyna wrote:

There's this bracelet or wristband thing on my hand. Ms. Tilpin made me put it on. Maybe your choker and my bracelet has a reaction.

'Ah, maybe you'r right... Manfred says you only lie, but I trust you/'

Seraphyna was surprised. But then again, Manfred gave off an air of hostility. We need to keep an eye on him then... she thought to herself.

She wrote:

I trust you too, but what do we do?

She passed it back, giving the boy next to her an appologetic smile. He murmured something about going over there to talk but didn't say anything else.

As she waited for Ivie's response, Seraphyna tried to finish her breakfast.

'I have no idea... but there has to be--' ((can Manfrec ome up and snatch up Ivie' notes?))

Manfred notcied Ivie writing something and peered over her to read. He caught the name 'Seraphyna' and immediately snatched the paper up. "What is the meaning of this?" he snapped.

"I.....I wanted to talk to her...." she looked at her feet.

Manfred was outraged. "Do you not see? You can't trust her! If you let her get to you like this, she will manipulate you. You will be our weakness! Do you see Rowan? You must not associate with her." he hissed.

'"Manfred, I don;t have anyone else," said Ivie desperately.

"Then make friends! There are other people you know. Like this person here." He placed a hand on a girl who sat beside Ivie. The girl whimpered at Manfred's touch.

"She's not endowed," mumbld Ivie.

"They don't have to be endowed." Manfred said.

"But I want to b frinds with other people similar to me!"

"Well hey, she's a girl, you're a girl. Problem solved." Manfred sighed.

"Problm not solved! I don;t want to be her frnd," she glanced at the girl "no offence....."
