Joshua eyed Ivie for a while, and then he sighed. "Fine, whatever. Just don't bother me."

Seraphyna smiled coyly. "Thank you...."

"What did I miss?" Livia asked, bounding up to Olivia. She had been sick, so her dad took her home. Except, it wasn't her real father that picked her up, it was Ms. indiglew, who drove her home.


(totally have not been folowing, I stopped. Watching the topic somehow)

"Aw, that's mean," said Ivie, wishing for Seraphyna but NOT wishing to cause herself or Seraphyna pain. "Joshua?"

"I dunno," said Olivia. "Ivie Rowan has been acting weird, and Manfred burned Ivie.... IDK why..... Sere, do you know anything else?"

Joshua shrugged. "Hey, it's your call. Stay if you want, but if you don't, then don't."

Seraphyna considered telling them. Maybe they could get closer to Ivie without writhing on the ground in pain.

"I think there's a..well, connection with her and the um, Tilpins....." she said tentatively. "Manfred doesn't want her to find out but, um...um...I think he burned her so she won't try to find out? I don't know. I can't get close to her to find out...."

Ivie sighed and went back to Manfred.
"I don;t like Joshua."

"WHy can't you get close to her?" asked Olivia.

Manfred sent an imaginary wave of coldness towards her. "Then go to the twins." he sneered, wvaing her away.

Seraphyna hesitated. SHould she tell them about her bracelet?

Why not?

She pointed to the contraption on her wrist. "I think this prevents me from getting close to her. If I'm within a couple of feet of her, well, um..."

"It hurts her." Charlie finished for her, suddenly popping into the conversation. "I overheard that if they stay close too long, the pain will kill her."

Seraphyna grimaced. "Yes, it will...kill me."

Manfred scowled. "Fine,"

"I don't know." Seraphyna murmured softly.

"Thank you!" Ivie hugged him.

"OKay then.... I'm gonna find out."

Manfred jumped as Ivie hugged him. He sent a death like vibe to her but she probably couldn't sense his ebilness-yes ebil- because she didn't let go.

Seraphyna watched Olivia leave. Honestly, she hoped Olivia would be safe.

Ivie let go after five minutes or so.

Olivia heard voices and leaned onto a door.

Manfred could have swron he had died on the spot. A hug that lasted for so long? He could brush his teeth, listen to a song or two, or even hand out a few detentions in ive minutes!

Oh he could die of shame!

Dr. Bloor was pacing the room. He could say something, anything really, but what he was going to say depended on what Ms. Tilpin would say becuase he had no idea what was going on.

Ivie looked at Manfred's face carefuy.
"You're annoyed." she said, findinf him quite obvious.

"We have two problems on our hands," Titania began. "Asa Pike helping Charlie Bone find Lyell." she seethed with anger at that name. "and my daughter, finding her identity.... why did you suggest we keep it from her, again?"

"Why do you think that is?" Manfred grumbled. "From now on, no more hugging."

Dr. Bloor narrowed his eyes. "I'll see to it that Asa won't be able to help Bone. Believe me, I'll see to it. As for your daughter, I have my reasons."

((Dr. Bloor may have his but I don't know them. xD))

Ivie nodded easrnestly.
"Yes, sir, no more hugging."

"WHat reasons?"

Manfred nodded curtly. "Good."

"I prefer not to answer."

Ivie wanted to hug him.
"Can I PLEASE talk to Sera?"

"You need to tell me, I'm her mother."

Manfred had a bad feeling. Ivie looked at him as if he was huggable, which he shouldn't be.

Did he look huggable?

"No." he snapped.

Dr. Bloor frowned at Ms. Tilpin. "You have the same stubborness as your child, and both of them."

Ivie sighed.
"Manfred, do you hate me?" she looked at her feet.

"NONE OF US ARE STOBORN!" she screeched.

Manfred knew that question would come sooner or later. "No, I'm just looking out for you." he said dully. "And believe me that's hard to do."

Dr. Bloor riased an eyebrow. "I can see that."

"Why am I hard to look after?" Ivie was oblivious to the fact that she probably made herself hard to 'take care of.'

"Good," said Titania smoothing her skirt.

"Because....because you talk too much."

"No if you'll excuse me, I think I will go get myself a coffee."

"Wha...? I do?" Ivie got all depressed.

Manfred sighed. Now he hit the button that said 'Push me and I will be depressed'. "Um, well, not really. I don't know, it's um..." he frowned. Boy was he horrible with kids.
